As a carp angler I've been taking carp fishing seriously for around 32 years now, although I have been fishing for any species imaginable from as far back as I can remember.

Nowadays I class myself as a “big fish” angler. I get the biggest buzz from targeting specific carp from around the country. These fish may reside in lakes of all shapes and sizes, from 200-300 acres to as little as 1 acre, with several having very few inhabitants.
