Getting to know your dB7-R Receiver
Start by removing the small screw from the back of the battery cover with the screwdriver provided, and carefully slide down the rear cover to remove from the alarm casing. Insert 1 x 9v PP3 battery noting the polarity shown on the connection terminals. The alarm speaker will sound, and LEDs will flash twice once the battery is fitted. Replace the battery cover ensuring it slides back into the correct position to align the rubber seal, then secure in place with a screw. We recommend the use of well-known battery brands; quality batteries will ensure the best operation of the product.

Press and hold Function 1 button for 3 seconds to activate the Vibration
Mode, the dB7-R Receiver will give 3 short pulse vibrations to confirm
the setting. This mode reacts to each bleep on the dB7-R Alarms. This setting can be used in all volume settings from the dB7-R Alarm and Receiver even if both are set to silent. To de-activate Vibration Mode, press and hold Function 1 button for 3 seconds, the dB7-R Receiver will give a single longer pulse to confirm de-activation of the setting.
Press and hold Function 2 button for 3 seconds, the LED will illuminate for 10 seconds on the channel to which the last event occurred. The dB7-R Receiver will sound once if the volume setting is set above silent and if Vibration Mode is active, it will pulse once when the setting is recalled.
Press and hold Function 1 button and power button simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter Programming Mode. If the volume is set above silent, the dB7-R Receiver will sound once, and the first LED will flash in its default red colour. Select the desired channel for linking to a dB7-R Alarm by pressing Function 1 button to cycle through the available 4 channels. Once a channel is selected, power on the dB7-R Alarm or if it is already powered on activate the roller wheel to make the connection.
Depending on the dB7-R Alarm colour that has been selected on the alarm, this will automatically update on the dB7-R Receiver when in Programming Mode. It will also automatically update if you change the colour on the dB7-R Alarm at any time in use after they have been linked.
Repeat the above process until all dB7-R Alarms have been linked. Up to four dB7-R Alarms can be added per channel, their respective LED colour will signal depending on the LED colour selection on each dB7-R Alarm. Once completed, press and hold Function 1 button and power button simultaneously for 3 seconds to exit Programming Mode. The LED on the dB7-R Receiver will turn off to confirm the exit.
The dB7-R Alarms and Receiver are now successfully linked and will keep their memory for future use. Additional dB7-R alarms can be added or swapped to alternative channels by following the same Programming Mode link procedure. The link memory will remain for a short time if new batteries are required, saving you from reprogramming when installing a new battery.
Sometimes, you may want to fully clear the memory and revert to the default for a new Link Procedure.
Press and hold Function 1 and power buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter Programming Mode. If the volume is set above silent, the dB7-R Receiver will sound once, and the first LED will flash on the first channel.

When the low battery voltage is detected, the right LED will flash once and continuously flash every 5 seconds until the battery is flat or replaced with a new battery. (Please note the receiver will still function correctly until the battery is flat)
