Bonesy's favourite carp fishing waterproofs

Bonesy's favourite carp fishing waterproofs for autumn and winter.

So, the summer is officially over, the leaves are changing colour and we’re moving into the autumn period. Autumn brings with it some ever-changing weather conditions. One minute it could be super sunny, the next minute it could be raining, then it can be hailing and then it can be really windy.

So, for this time of year, I bring out three products from the Trakker fishing clothing range that I always keep in the van because I know, no matter what the weather has in store for me, they are going to keep me dry and warm.

To start off with, I always have the Trakker Summit XP Waterproof Jacket and matching Summit XP fishing trousers. These are the best fishing waterproofs you can buy! They both feature a 10,000mm hydrostatic head and a 5,000mm breathability rating, meaning you’ll be kept dry even in the heaviest of rain. Also, it’s worth pointing out that you won’t become all sweaty as the garments are able to breathe.

Another garment I can’t live without at this time of the year is the Base XP jacket. Now this can be used as a standalone jacket or used in conjunction with the Summit XP Jacket by simply zipping it in. The Base XP Plus Jacket is a down-filled thermal fishing jacket, meaning it will keep the autumnal chill off me and acts as the perfect mid layer when used with the Summit XP. There’s nothing worse than being cold and wet whilst on the bank.

If you're looking for the best carp fishing waterproofs, then look no further than the Trakker Summit XP range of clothing. And if you want that extra thermal layer, then the Base XP is the best winter fishing jacket you can buy!

Tight lines and be lucky,

Bonesy
